Migration Disaster
-
So I attempted to move
http://lashmar.co.uk/jamesrobinson/
where i had a wordpress website installed over to other hosting.
http://79.170.44.75/jamesrobinson-music.com/
which was meant to be here.
i downloaded the database and replaced the urls with the new url, i then download the site via ftp. when i attempted to move the site, the sql import failed.
i have now tried to retrace my steps to place it back on the original hosting….and as you can see on lashmar.co.uk/ the database tables are there as the blog posts are showing.
if you hover over a link it still has the temp ip ftp details.
i have used bbedit to do a multiple search on all files connected to the site, but can’t see where it’s getting the ip links from.i cannot log in to wordpress through the site either.
if ANYONE has any advice, it would be so greatly appreciated.
