banner does not display after inserting code into text widget

    Hello,
    I have tried to insert an Amazon banner into my website (http://jantaaks.de) using the text widget. I have done this before on another site and it worked well. Now, however, I can only see the title that I entered into the widget, not the banner. I have entered just plain text into the text widget and that is perfectly visible. In addition, I have tried to enter the code that I got from Amazon into the main body of one of the pages, but the banner remains invisible.
    Any help is highly appreciated.

    I see a grey box with some amazon stuff and the title ‘Empfohlene Ebook Reader’

    does the ‘noscript’ part of the code show? (‘Amazon.de Widgets’)

    does not seem to be a WordPress problem –
    make sure javascript is enabled in your browser…
    check in a different browser or computer…

    as embarrassing as it is, I have to admit that you are right, it seems to be my browser / Java that is causing the problem.
