I’m running several sites with WP E-Commerce and I’ve run into a problem when using the ManageProductImages feature to upload pics ..
The same image, exported from Photoshop by SaveForWeb:
    90% size: 2782×3682, 938kb = HTTP Error
    75% size: 2318×3072, 681kb = Works perfectly

In testing I’ve found that with two of my sites I can switch this problem on/off by activating/deactivating the SEO Ultimate plugin … however on the main problem site this is not the case.

Can anyone see any reason why the SEO plugin could have that effect?
    Cheers

    Hi Sonic1243:

Not sure what is causing conflict, with so many variables without looking in error logs difficult to assume. Specifically if the problem above was a true bug or side effect of another conflict.

Also, try reducing the resolution of the images (those will take 20 secs to load on slower connections). Jpeg compression could get those to under 100K.

Ahhh .. Error log! It never even occurred to me to look.
“PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 100663296”
Perhaps disabling the SEO plugin simply free’d up enough memory for the upload to function, but actually it has nothing to do with the plugin; as I suspected…
Sorry to bother you, I have much more to go on now.
    Cheers
