Formatting Issues

First of all, I have to say that this plugin has been a LIFESAVER! Very easy to configure and very easy to use.

That being said, I’m having one issue. I’m migrating over 3,100 posts and 4,400 images for my client from a Joomla 1.0 site. When the post is viewed on the WordPress site is has very odd linebreaks and code.

For example, see http://alpha.prepvolleyball.com/senior-aces-2014-the-prologue/

You will notice that it grabs the article from Joomla and assumes a linebreak (almost like a wordwrap in Notepad). It also grabs some garbage code too, but I’m guessing that might be from the fact that the client currently copies Microsoft Word documents into his Joomla 1.0 posts. Ugly.

Is there anyway to avoid this. I’ve pasted the code here as well.

We’ve been working hard since May to identify and compile a list of the best
USA-based recruits in the next senior class, the Class of 2014. The sole
criterion was potential impact over a collegiate career. High school
achievement was not a factor nor was the university they would attend.

Starting Monday and continuing for the next 10 days, we will reveal 10 names,
in descending order, of the top 100 Senior Aces until we get to No. 1. On Thursday,
Sept. 5, the final 150 names will be released, but they will not be ranked.
