    Hi wirr,
    You don’t have to change anything in the database. You need to change the WPLANG environment variable in your wp-config.php file. Change the line that looks something like:
    define ('WPLANG', '');
    to
    define ('WPLANG', 'fr_FR');

    There are a number of good tutorials on WP Internationalization and using poedit online. Just Google and find one you like.

    BTW, a French translation exists for one of the MSTW plugins, I forget which one.
