install WP on windows 8

    I installed WP 3.6 on my windows 7 laptop. My site is pretty bare bones with only a few preliminary settings for now. I have a new windows 8 laptop and would like to ask if I need to install WP on it? Or can I just log into my site and continue to build it?
    Also I have filezilla on my windows 7 machine. Do I need to install it as well on my new one along with a WP install?

    Unless your database is on your old computer you should just be able to go online and log in to your site and get going.

    thanks. what do you mean “unless your database is on old computer?”
    But I was able to log into my site online on my new laptop.
