time setting in australia

    Hi,
    I am in australia, and my server is hosted in US.
    my time which is being displayed is US time I suppose, How do i make it display my local time ?
    I tried changing settings in Setup, I added time difference +10 (as this setting is for GMT) but i think, this is wrong. and also, my recent posts which i did some 5 min ago, after i changed the time difference disappeared, but i can see them after i login inside the wordpress setup.
    anyone help me?

    never mind,
    I just changed +14 in the Other Settings, It is okay for now.
    But if I goto another country, all my timings are saved in Australian timings, I think I need to change the setting again to reflect local time.
    Is there any GMT setting in this? or this is good option.. any ideas?

    how do u think the blog will know that u have shifted time zones?
