Can we get a link to the site, so we can look at the markup?
Sure – http://www.6downunder.com – thanks for the quick response 🙂
look at your source:
<p align=”left”><strike></strike>
<p align=”center”><strike><img id=”image61″ style=”width: 386px; height: 280px;” alt=”JAPANESE GARDEN” src=”http://www.6downunder.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/07/JAPENESE%20GARDEN.jpg” height=”280″ width=”386″> </strike>
<p align=”center”><strike>The Japanese Garden</strike>
<p align=”center”><strike> </strike>
dont copy and paste into the editor. and check that post for a spare <del> or anything else odd
Ah ok – blimey – is there anyway that could have been done inadvertently? Shall I just paste it into a text editor and kill all the <strike> tags?
It probably WAS inadvertent – because someone pasted from a crap windows editor like word or wordpad or notepad. Don’t DO that. If you’re going to composite offline, download notepad2 from flos-freeware.ch – it doesn’t throw any extraneous junk into your text.
Yes, you need to delete the strike tagpairs. But NOT in anything with the words “windows” or “MS” in it!
lol – thanks guys – I shall slap her wrists and tell her to use a decent text editor – thanks again for the quick and helpful responses 🙂
You’re very welcome. Decent text editors are free…. if you don’t cotton to notepad2, just google for “open source text editor” – or search on sourceforge.net.
I have made the same mistake but my problem is that I don’t know how to see the code of my posts. Help?
oops! I finally got it! And it was an invisible strike code… I have been posting from MS Word… I should know better as a Mac user! Grateful for your comments. I found the path to light!
