Hi,
Here is a movie with me putting in this rss feed into 2.68 of the plugin
http://www.screencast.com/t/2d0obTOUUf4
as you can see, I get no duplicate posts. What this tells me is that the issue may be with your server. You may also read this:

Hi,
It appears that this only happens after the 10 minute period, when the cron should be running. The initial import is correct, however after 10 mins the same posts are pulled in again, but have the same permalink, and same title
Thanks
Stephen

ok…take this file and replace it for the one on your server…this should eliminate the double posts.

Hi Allen,
I still appear to getting multiple posts in when using this new import_posts.php, and the previous RSS feed. I have tested this on a local XAMPP installation, a development server, and a production server.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Stephen

strange..I don’t get this on either my developement or production server….and this has the same code for checking duplicates as in the normal plugin..I’ll try this again later today and let you know.
Hi Allen,
It appears that it duplicates the posts to a maximum of 3 times, i.e. the rss feed I supplied has brought in 30 posts. Each of the duplicates again has the same title, and the same permalink when you click into the post.
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks
Stephen

just so you know, I have this running on my site and so far no duplicates have shown up. I’ll keep running it to see if I can reproduce the problem.
Hi Allen,
I ahve tried adding a couple more feeds including:
http://appcamp.co.uk/blog/feed/
http://www.stephenmahood.com/category/raspberry-pi/feed/
Neither feed is pulling in posts into the auto post section, or adding them in as pending posts.
The posts are found when initially adding them, however these are not actually posted as pending according to the settings in autopost Settings
