pingback trimmed

When I pingback another blog I have from within WP, the link passed to my other blog is trimmed. It should be http://israblog.nana.co.il/blogread.asp?blog=349&blogcode=5027531 but WP sends out the pingback.ping function with just http://israblog.nana.co.il/blogread.asp?blog=349&amp as the link.
Could this be some error with encoding the link? I tried longer links, it always breaks just after the amp.
