There’s no pro version of the slideshow plugin and the plugin sets no limitation on the amount of slides you can add to a slideshow.
However, it seems that when you have a slideshow with around a 100 images, you may reach a limit to what your server can process or your database can store.
How many images do you currently have?

I have around 135 images. I have my own server, so their are no restrictions. I am unfamiliar with a database restrictions. I am using zenphoto for a main gallery database on a site and that has more than 40,000 images – however I do not think they reside in the database.
Well thank you. I will have to find another way around this. I built my whole site around your plugin. LOL
Look Back at Me
That’s a lot of slides indeed. I’ll see if I can reproduce the issue you’re having and see if I can fix it.

That’s a very nice gesture, but I’m probably looking for a couple hundred images.
A program which read the image filenames (dynamically – read from a directory) seems simple enough (no database) – at least for me. I don’t need a place for descriptions. Perhaps a switch to place the file name under the image (without extension).
I’m not sure it would need any other config except limitations on display size.
Thanks anyway. I’ll watch for your success or perhaps a second type “lite” plugin. (smile)
Thanks for your attention. I don’t care if another product is better or cheaper, I will work with the software that is supported by the author over all others.
