• Hi, I currently am building a website with Dreamweaver, and the design is perfect for what I want, in terms of the navigation bar, layout, etc. However, I want my site to allow users to log in and pay for products, so I’m wondering if WordPress would cause less headache for me as there’s content management systems that do all of this.

My question: Can I customize a WordPress site to look exactly like my HTML/CSS site made with Dreamweaver? I don’t want my site to look like a generic blog, but instead to mimic my current site.

I’m very new obviously. Thank you so much.

  • The answer is yes, you can make your site look like whatever you want it to. As long as you create your template you have complete control over what it looks like.

In addition, WordPress would be a good choice for your site as you’ll be able to set up whatever pages that you need as well as setting up a good e-commerce plugin that will let you sort out your e-commerce part as well.
