Hi, marieelizabeth, & welcome. W/all due respect, you really don’t give us enough information to help. At a minimum, we need the link to your site, what theme you were trying to install, preferably what theme you had before, what version of WordPress you’re running, & a description of what you mean by “crash”, i.e., the site doesn’t come up at all, you get an error message, it looks weird, etc.
The rule of thumb is provide more information than you think we’ll need, & we’ll likely be able to help more quickly.

try to remove the crashed theme from the /wp-content/themes/ directory via FTP – http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/FTP_Clients
what theme exactly are you trying oy install?
what is your current version of WordPress?
