TypePad import, assist please

• Successfully installed WP.
• Created import text file from TypePad export feature.
• In WP Admin: Manage | Import | Movable Type and TypePad
• Selected file, Upload & Import
• Blank Screen. No Import.

I read somewhere about the file import-mt.php

• I located the file, updated the config line
in the code, and copied import-mt.php in to \wp-admin

• Also copied the TypePad import file into \wp-admin
• Launched import-mt.php
• Blank Screen. No Import.
