Emails still a premium plugin?

Sending HTML Emails is still a premium plugin in JigoShop?
C’mon boys, it’s 2015 and sending HTML emails are becoming the default standaard those days with all the Open Source frameworks out there.
I thought you guys where on a mission?
When I read the ‘mission page’ it sounds like you guys are working in the future. At least eyeing towards future standaards and perspectives.– Premium support for JigoShop, fair enough.
– Premium plugins that turn your shop up side down / add advanced, technical stuff. Also fair enough, someone has to code it so we have to pay for that time.
– Premium themes for JigoShop, sure why not..HTML Emails, something this small?
If you understand the WordPress Actions & Filters you know how ‘simple’ this feature is. It barely can be called a feature and I believe it should be part of the default JigoShop Core plugin after so many years. The wp_mail function is very solid and doesn’t change every WordPress upgrade so coding wise you guys don’t have to make lots of changes to this premium plugin every time. Selling it for 50.- USD is totally not fair at all.WooCommerce added this ‘feature’ in 1845 when they cloned the base of this shopping-script and both parties went different ways.
This topic is not for me, I can create/add stuff like this myself to make stuff pretty and up to date. It’s just something that caught my eyes after so many years. I understood years ago when WooCommerce vs JigoShop where still 98% the same products just different names and visions that you guys had to start somewhere and adding HTML Email as a premium plugin was a fair first step but after so many years ? I believe at some point some premium plugins ( created by the JigoShop team itself ) should become part of the default Core plugin because we all move forward and features in 2008 are very basic and general in 2014.
Just my thoughts about this..
