Prioritizing Category

Hi there,

I would like to know if there is any specific plugin that helps prioritizing which category will appear for a post.

For example,

An article for Beyonce will be tag under ‘Music’ category but I would also like it to be tag under ‘Now Trending’. By doing this, when I click onto the article, both of this category will appear after the article title.

This is something I do not want to appear on my page as I would like to just have ‘Music’ category to appear and hide the ‘Now Trending’.

The reason why I have this extra category is that I have a slider on the main page, and you’ll need to select a specific category to choose so it will display on the slider whatever that’s listed in it. For filtering sake, I created a new specific category for this so that whenever I do not want the article to appear in the slider anymore, I’ll just manually untag it within the post category.

My issue: I would want to hide this special category from appearing so that it only shows the true category that’s meant for the post.
