• All of my pages “about me”, “contact me”, “galleries” etc have the comments box at the bottom of the page, but my posts do not. People are able to comment on my pages but not actually on the posts where most people would leave a comment. Through my research it looks like I need to add <?php comments_template();?> somewhere into the editor, but I cannot find where. A few times I have successfully added an extra comments box to the pages so I know the code works, I just need to figure out where to put it. Thank you!

Author section is also no longer appearing at the bottom of my posts. Any thoughts?

So after looking around I found the “screen options” tab and was able to activate the comments and author section at the bottom of the posts. But it only shows up when I click the title of the blog post to actually go to the link for that specific post. You still don’t see either of these features when you see the post on the home page (where most people will look for it and comment from) or in the categories pages where people will be searching through the blog. Is there any way to get the comments to follow the post to these two locations?

Ignite does not currently have an option for displaying comments on the blog/archives pages. However, there is an option in the Post Meta section in the Customizer to add a link to the comments on the blog/archive pages (screenshot). This link will take people straight to the comments section, rather than the top of the post.
