• I have two WordPress sites that are having the same problem. Site #1…http://www.ldjautobody.com. This site needs to update TO 4.2.1. When I try to do one click update, I get a message “server has reset the page during load. Please re-try later.” The site attempts to connect but just sits there and never does. Site #2 is a sub-domain of Site #1. http://www.ldjautobody.com/newsite. This site was loaded using 4.2.1 and gets the exact same message when trying to install any plugin. It will sit there attempting to connect but never seems to connect.

I talked to support at my hosting company and they say it is not on the server side. I am having no connection problems with any other websites on my pc. I have reset the router several times. They also claim that they have another client that has the same problem. In addition, I have also gotten that same message when trying to access the site by simply typing in the url in a browser. It sometimes takes two times to actually connect.

Is it possible that ww.wp.xz.cn is having a connection issue? Is anyone else having these issues? The original site has never had a single issue with updating WordPress OR plugins. In fact, I have NEVER had a single issue with this site in the 4 yrs. that it has been up… The only issue I have with it now is that it cannot be updated to WP 4.2.1.

This site is set to be replaced very soon. It is sadly outdated and is not very mobile friendly. However, I would like to ensure that it gets updated so that I can transfer the data over to the new site as soon as it is ready. The new site is mobile friendly and a much faster, nicer site using the Divi theme from Elegant Themes. I have not contacted ETs’ support because I don’t think it has anything to do with the theme. It is simply an inability to connect to WordPress that is causing the problem.

Does anyone have any idea why it would not connect? I am open to any suggestions! Again, this site has never had a single issue updating in the past…so, no history I can offer. Thanks in advance for any advice. (as a side note, I am getting the same problem using Firefox, Google Chrome, and IE. All 3 browsers are updated to the latest versions.)
