    Tried to upload this to our wordpress site, but error message says You need to upload a version of Meris higher than 1.1.0. Increase the theme version number in style.css, then upload your zip file again.

    How did you try to upload the ZIP file? Did you use FTP, cPanel, or some other file management application?
