• I’ve got a problem either with my theme, or a plugin.

I use the DiggClick plugin to display the digg button on posts that I’ve blogged from digg. Since I’m not digging my actual post, I add a custom field called digg with the url of the digg story to the posts.

On the homepage, individual blog pages, and on pages it works great, but when I view my site with the calendar, or with the categories the digg url is not hidden, and it messes the whole thing up.

When I inspect the source code of the pages that don’t work there’s an extra p tag with digg_url='http://digg.com/blah'; inside of it. This is directly after the <!--thecontent--> marker

I’m not quite sure if I need to take this up with the plugin author or if the theme author. (which I’d really rather not do)

I did make some tweaks to the theme’s css as well, but I don’t see how that could be the cause.

<edit: i went back and double checked and it does not mess up like it does with my theme>IIRC a long time ago when I first tried to figure this out I switched back to the default theme, and it still did it, so I’m pretty sure it is not the theme.

A push or nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
<edit: so I guess I do need to be looking at my theme, but where?>
