There is a javascript on this forum that transforms the input boxes to a ‘pick a winner’ type pool. Not the best solution, but the only way to make it work at the moment.

Another option would be to change the layout of the prediction form via the template for that form. The help page contains some information on how to change the template. That way you can write your own html and/or javascript to handle the chosing of the teams. Just save a 1 for the winning team and a 0 for the losing team.
