Mouseover image for a link

Hi everybody!
I would like to display an image when mouseovering on a link in a page. That image comes from my WP database, it shouldn’t be framed by any window and I would like to set its size and position (next to the mouse cursor). Is there a way to do it? I red about some tooltip plugins but I couldn’t find the one good for me (maybe because I’m not so experienced with code).
