All categories not importing from database

    Hi all. I am importing my database/content to a second site, but after importing the database it’s only pulling in a fraction of my total categories.

    If you view my personal site, http://www.jamesvandellen.com you’ll see it only contains about 10% of the categories (in sidebar) as my original site http://www.futuregringo.com

    All of my posts exist, but it assigns “uncategorized” to many.

    I’ve imported the database, and also used the WP export/import function. I’ve also deleted my DB and created/reinstalled a fresh DB and WP, (on my destination site,) but have the same result.

    Any advice or fix? I’m running 2.3.1 on both sites

    I’m having the same problem. The xml important left out an entire page, and only brought in 17 out of 91 posts. Anyone know the answer to this?
