Moving wordpress disaster – can someone help?

Hi can you help?

i recently installed wordpress under my root folder i.e. /wordpress.

Then i decided i wanted to move wordpress to be the root folder so this is what i did after reading some instructions:
1. Went under wp-admin and went to General to change the URL and Blog to the root folder URL (which is my siteurl minue /wordpress at the end)
2. Then i copied over all the wordpress files to the rootfolder (while still keeping /wordpress)
3. Then i went to my siteurl/wp-admin and the page is blank. http://www.faredgeorganic.co.uk/wp-admin/

Can someone please help me? I can’t even login to my admin page or into wordpress at all 🙁
