Having multiple subscribers to the same list
-
I have several pdfs and am adding more. I want subscribers of the various pdfs to be on the same list. Unfortunately, when they do subscribe to the list, they receive the automatic newsletters for all of pdfs. From what I understand, the forms that you create in Mailpoet point to a specific list, not an individual automatic newsletter. So the subscriber gets all of the auto newsletters in their inbox at once.
Should I have a different list for each pdf that I’m offering? If I do, I’m concerned that I’ll have a lot of duplicates who have requested more than one pdf when I choose to send a regular newsletter. How should I structure this?

That’s right!

Yes!

Yes, you should.

If you have 1 list for each PDF, as soon as they subscribe in 2 lists, they’ll receive a newsletter for each PDF. You won’t have this subscribed duplicated, but you’ll have him in 2 different lists at the same time.
Thank you for the reply. I know there’s several ways I could manage a subscribe list. I love Mailpoet btw. It seems to work well and simple to understand.
Folks: Please help.
I am in rather desperate situation here.
Just as I was going to bed I noticed that my newsletter in Bulldogottawa.com is working perfectly.
In bulldogcanadian.com all my newsletters disappeared. I remade one of them and went to activate it, newsletter just showed no newsletters.
I send this newsletter daily to senior Canadian government officials and my deadline is less than five hours to go.
I have no newsletters in bulldogcanadian.com at all and cannot replace them. I still have my subscriber list.
What should I do? I deactivate the plugin and nothing happened. I then reloaded it and nothing.
I don’t know what to do.
Please help soonest.
cheers

Hi,
Can you enable debug mode? It’s under MailPoet > Settings > Advanced > Show Geeky options. Then some error messages should appear.
Thanks!
