The default language is Spanish and I’m trying to modify Catalan translation because there was a mistake but now both are in Spanish, it is not possible to change.

Your problem comes maybe from the html in the text widget. Could you set a widget per language, one for the Catalan and one for the Spanish? The widget have the multilingual capabilities.
Then go in the Strings translation tab, then make your changes on the other strings, and save them.
