SQL Importer

Well, unless someone here can tell me that it’s already been done, I am going to have to build a SQL importer for MT->WP.
My old host has the server set to kill the CGI process after a few seconds. So, when I try to export my almost 1,000 MT entries, the server kills it before it can get to all the entries.
However, I can get a full SQL dump of the MT database. So, starting with the current MT importer, I am setting off to write an importer to pull in a MT SQL dump and push it all into the WP database.
