XHTML standards and the WP editor

    I’m trying to validate a site, but the tags added when uploading and inserting an image are all in caps (i.e. SRC=””, and ALT=””). When I edit these in code view and save, they revert to caps. I could turn off the visual editor, but there are some things it does that I like. So how do I get my XHTML to validate if the editor insists on using caps for the attributes?

    Has anyone experimented at all with XStandard to use with WP?
