Setup WP on VPS account

    I’m filling out the info on Mojo Marketplace to install WordPress and I’m confused at what is being asked at the FTP. It tells me there is no FTP directory!

    Control Panel: Cpanel
    Domain Name: “my domain”

      FTP Info

    FTP Host Name (?)
    FTP User Name (the user name on the database I setup “shaw”)
    FTP Password (password for database I setup)
    FTP Root Directory (public_html)

    Firstly, FTP is not the database, so the username and password for the dataase wil not work for FTP.

    You should have FTP details supplies from your hosting company when you signed up for your hosting account. If you don’t, just send them a support request and ask them and they’ll get back to you with the information that you need. As a starting point though, a lot of systems use your hosting login and username as the FTP login details, your hostname is normalyl your domain name (mysite.com or http://ftp.mysite.com), but the root directory does change so that would need to be confirmed with the account.
