Elementor simply doesn’t fire up if the Post or Page is new – not published. Which is OK but just a tiny irritation…

  • Yeah, I noticed this too and thought it was kind of annoying, but actually, I think you can simply save a draft and then it will be available. To me, this is a decent solution. Still 1 extra step, but my bigger concern was about creating content that had nothing there, and this solves that issue.

There are many issues that come from other plugins or themes.

So please deactivate all your plugins. If this solves the problem, gradually activate your plugins one by one, until you spot the problematic plugin. (If you have a caching plugin, make sure you deactivate it, or even better – purge the cache.)

Try to change your WordPress theme to WordPress TwentySixteen

Here ya go @arielk – totally clean new install of WP with TwentySixteen. Unless you save the page or save a draft, when you just give the page a title and click Elementor, it times out.

I’ll send login info to team AT pojo.me.
