I have tested this now and it works still solid.
Can you explain this or test for a other custom post type? Please check, that the settings are saved.

I have about 10 cpts.
I tried on all of them, settings get saved, but they only get applied for posts. The debug doesnt show anyting.
Can you remove all options, you find a area on the end of the settings page for testing. Create a export and backup of the sql data before.
Maybe a other plugin, theme function that create this problem?

I dont think its a plugin…
The cpts are made through Types, which Ive used on 20+ sites before, with Adminimize, all good.
Just recently, Adminimize doesnt hide those in the side menu anymore :/ nor some meta boxes in the post editor.
I think it is no topic for Adminimize, the plugin have no changes in this topic. But is it hard from outside to debug or view on the topic to solve it.

Can you please test too?
– create a cpt with Types
– create a custom Role based on the Editor role, with User Role Editor
and see if Adminimize can hide the cpt from backend menu, for that role?
Ok, I have tested with this plugin.
I create a CPT with the Toolset. I remove areas, like Help, Screen Options, Category and Tags Meta box.
It works, the hiding works on the screen for the roles.

It works also to with custom roles. But I use to create via UI custom roles the plugin Members. But I think this is not the point.

Can you hide that CPT completely, from the left backend menu too (for that user role)?
Sorry, tested now also this feature to hide a menu item via the section Menu in Adminimize settings. After login as this custom role, it works fine, no problems.

I’d like you to test this on one of my sites.
It’s easier for you to see, than to explain.
Where can I send you the login details?
To summarize again: I created 2 roles based on Editor. Then I created some CPTs.
From Adminimize I hid one of the CPT from 1 of the 2 custom roles, but they can still see it.
See my profile for a contact. But I only with free time the next 2 days, after this I’m on traveling vor 4 weeks. Thx.
