    Hi Tobias,

I use a tooltip plugin (CM Tooltip Glossary Pro) with tablepress. So when I hover a term I have tooltip. It works perfectly with tablepress except when there’s an apostrophe in my word. When the same word with apostrophe isn’t in tablepress it works.

I saw on another post that it also happen with the row filter add-on but it’s not the same issue. Do you have an idea why?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Hi,
My site is under construction so the pages are hidden…

    Hi,

can you maybe temporarily activate them? Without seeing this and inspecting the HTML/JS code, I don’t know how I could debug this 🙁

    Hello,

Ok i can do that for a moment.

You can go to this page. Go at the bottom of the page, the first name on left as an apostrophe and a tooltip is supposed to appear on hover like you can see to the name beside Dominic Garneau

    Hi,

do you mean “O’Toole”? I have no idea why no tooltip is showing.
How are those working? Are you using a Shortcode for this?

Yes that’s the one. No the terms are created like we create a post. The term is the title. So everywhere where the name appear on my site, a tooltip appear automatically

    Hi,

can you then maybe try without caching, i.e. turn off the TablePress output caching by changing the Shortcode to

    [table id=40 cache_table_output=false /]

    Hello,

It doesn’t work but I found a way to fix it 🙂 I just need to use another apostrophe in the tables: alt+0146 ’
