SQL growing and growing

    Hi,
    Can anyone tell me how I go about emptying [not dropping] my wp_dstats2 table in phpmyadmin ?
    It has grown to about 6 mb now and I would like to empty it from time to time to keep my SQL a bit smaller.
    Thanks for any advice you have to offer 🙂

    Yup.
    Go here: http://www.mfr.f2s.com/phpmyadmin/
    It’s the 3rd screenshot you need to look at.
    Now open phpmyadmin on your site, and get to the same screen.
    One of the tables (not shown on that screenshot) is called wp_dstats2
    Check the box to the left of it.
    Now, at the bottom of the tables, where on the screenshot it says ‘With selected’ chose ‘Empty’ from the dropdown options.
    It will take you to a confirmation screen which just says something like “Are you sure you want to empty ‘wp_dstats2’ ?
    Click Go (or Yes / Okay – I forget the name of the button)
    Then go back to the screen showing all your tables, and you will see that the table is still there, but it’s empty.
    That’s it.
    (It is scary the first time you do this, but it’s okay really!)

    Cleared that out a bit – much appreciated.
