WordPress Adsense [Quick Ques]

Hello,
I got myself into a small problem – I’ve hosted my blog on my website and I tried implementing Google Adsense ads using the plugin manager. All is well but I want to add specific ads onto specific areas. I’ve taken a screenshot and highlighted in GREEN where I want the ads, could someone please help me?

PS – On the sidebars – the ads are there but I want it to be a bit wider – and the ‘wide sky scraper’ comes up empty when I implement it on the sidebars 🙁
