you can contact us here [ redacted ] with your login details and website, then we can investigate it
Huh??
Do you realy think i give YOU my login details??
A complete stranger??
Do you realize what you’re asking for??
Thanks but no thanks
Think again. I’ll take another Theme
at least you could create an additional admin account so we could check the issue. there is no other way we can check the bug. we receive login details from clients daily so there is no reason for a worry 😉

This is 4 weeks late but @romik84 please do not ever ask for login details in these forums again.
I know you are trying to support your users but that is going too far. This is something that is actively discouraged. Please do not do that again.
I’m a developer working with WordPress for many many years, many themes from many authors. I just wanted to say that it is pretty much standard for the author to request login details to look at your bug. You are being ridiculous in my opinion. Just make them a temporary Admin user, and when they are done, delete them. What’s the big deal…it’s done all the time. You should be grateful they are offering support on the free theme…many don’t. I don’t know why this author seems to get some of the rudest user clients I’ve ever seen…run of the luck I suppose. I commend them for hanging in there.
And all you people need to learn how to back up a WordPress website. Files, AND DATABASE! You wouldn’t worry so much.
If there is something you really don’t want them to see, then temporarily remove it…though I can’t imagine what, at development stage.
I realize the post is old, and likely solved by now…just want people to understand this is done quite often…

Not if they want to remain in these forums it’s not.

I appreciate that developers want to help users but asking for that access is not allowed here. There’s been too many cases where it went very awry. If that level of access is required (it’s not) then the theme or plugin author needs to consider removing their theme or plugin from the repository and try somewhere else.
Quoting the Bad Stuff AKA what not to do:
Plugin and theme authors may post their contact URL or even their email address in their own support sub-forum, but that should be a last resort thing.
I provided our contact URL which has been removed (as shown above), where I mentioned they can send us login details there. We have not ask the details to be provided here. I am not asking about a clarification, but I am writing facts. That’s all ;).
Please close or remove this post.
Thanks alot
