Problem accessing Appearance Customize

    I installed the Contact Form 7 plugin now whenever the plugin is activated I can not access Appearance – Customize just keep getting

    The (website URL) page isn’t working

    (website URL) is currently unable to handle this request.

    If I deactivate the plugin it works fine then re-activate and it’s broken again. If I change the Theme to say Twenty Sixteen it works ok but when I go back to Responsive it’s still not working.

    Any ideas what could be causing this?

    Hi,

    I tried at my end, but could not replicate the issue.
    It could be a plugin conflict. Can you please check once again by deactivating other plugins ?

    If I deactivate the meta slider plugin it works with CF7 active. I have also tried another contact form plugin Contact Form by Supsystic and see the same behavior.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I installed all the above mentioned plugins, but could not replicate the issue. The Customizer worked correctly with the plugins installed and active.

    Another possibility could be that, if any changes are made to the theme files.
    If yes, kindly revert back the changes and check. If not, then maybe some files mistakenly could have got altered.

    It would be best if you could please reupload the theme. (For backup of current theme folder, you can rename the old theme folder by adding “-old” to it – using FTP)
