• I am grateful for this free plugin! It lets me make great-looking, highly-customizable and very visible buttons for my entire website! And just a short tag is all that is needed in the post or page edit window. The plugin could be further improved by allowing the user to set defaults or create stencils. Currently, I always duplicate an older button and modify it when I need a new one, so that I don’t have to change each of the two dozen variables individually, as to make it match the others. For users who need to make a lot of buttons, the ability to tag or use folders could be a new helpful feature. Though I admit I don’t have more than 10 buttons or so.

Also, I don’t know if they fixed this, but I learned some years back that if I didn’t deactivate the plugin before updating it, it would stop working.

    Thanks for a great plugin!

    Thanks for the review.

    1) Duplicating buttons it not necessarry and it says so on the first line of the button editor. It’s unfortunate everybody keeps doing this, since the whole shortcode is built around not needing to duplicate if you just need different text + url. At proper use there is no need for a folder structure since you’d never need more than a few dozen buttons at most – unless you are building a circus.

    2) The last serious crashes we had were with version 1 and 2, that’s about 80 releases ago.
