    Hi:

What do you mean by ‘send’ or ‘receive’? Are you using our email add-on? If so, can you please open a regular support ticket – the response time will be much faster.

    Thanks.

No I am using your Awesome Support – WordPress Support Plugin
Please Send me the link so I can open a regular support ticket. Version 3.3.3

The File upload portion does not work properly, and when I receive attachments I cant open them.

Hi – you need to be a customer to open a support ticket. If you’ve already purchased an add-on you can open a support ticket otherwise all support is through this forum.

How are you “receiving attachments”? Is a customer logging into the ticket screen and uploading files? Or are you talking about some other way of “receiving attachments”?

Can you clarify what you mean by “does not work properly”. Are you getting an error message? If so, what is it?

    Thanks.

I was under the impression that when I configure the File Uploader Section in the Plugin setting. That will give my customers the ability to upload files to there Tickets!!!!!. Just like any other ticketing system on Planet Earth.

When I receive tickets via my website. http://twistedpairtec.com/submit-ticket/ My customers are able to upload attachment however THE ARE NOT VIEWABLE AND THEY APPEAR CORRUPTED. There is no error the attachment are not viewable only a white screen appears.

I AM NOT ABLE TO SEE MY CUSTOMERS ATTACHED FILES ARE DUE TO THE FILE UPLOADER NOT WORKING CORRECTLY! There is only one job that a FILE UPLOADER Should be able to do is allow for files to be uploaded this should not be rocket science. Its not allowing any files types to be uploaded without being corrupted along the line!!!

Hi – I just tested 3.3.3 with WP 4.6 and 4.7 on a clean install and cannot reproduce this issue. I assume that your customers are uploading image files or .zip files? Can you check in the back end – uploads/awesome_support/ticket_nnn (where nnn is the ticket number) – and download the files and try to open them? If it opens then it means that the files aren’t corrupted, just that they aren’t being displayed for some reason. If they can’t be opened after being downloaded directly then it means they are being corrupted while being uploaded – that would give us some idea on what the next step would be to help troubleshoot the issue.

    Thanks!

(Also, did you just install the plugin a few days ago or was it working and then suddenly stopped working)?

I installed it about a month ago and it has never worked. Stand by I am going to go through the last set of troubleshooting steps so I can identify exactly when and where the attachments are being corrupted.

I am not able to access the backend using the below link. Please advise me on how to access the back end uploads section?

    Hello:

The backend file system needs to be accessed using FTP.

    Thanks.
