Sidebar audioplayer

I’m designing a wordpress site for a friend of mine who is a musician. One thing he has required is an audio player that will play random mp3 files (previously uploaded somewhere), like a radio whenever the page loads.

I want suggestions on how to do it. I’ve found a plugin called ‘wordpress audio player’ but I’m afraid I don’t seem to know if I’m able to put it on the sidebar or not.

Any ideas?
