Envira Gallery Update failed / gallery broken.

    Envira Lite Version – 1.5.6.4
    Example URL demonstrating the issue – http://www.englishtruffles.co.uk/hunting/hunting-days-gallery/

    Updated Envira Lite Version to current one. The update did not finish (spinner carried on going around). Tried browsing page with gallery – behaviour now different to before, a selected image opens full size in the browser window, not as an Envira gallery.

    Uninstalled Envira Gallery, reinstalled it, still broken. Tried a new gallery of 3 images, issue stil present.

    Hi James,

    Would you check if your active theme has an option to disable AJAX site navigation?

    The HTML output for the gallery appears correct to show the image in lightbox view. Some themes though will use AJAX site navigation that breaks lightbox functionality, and disabling this typically will resolve the issue.

    Hi Erica,

    Thanks very much for trying to help. I’ve googled the theme name and Ajax and not got anything back. Searching on their site also does not find the word, so I am guessing it doesn’t offer AJAX options.

    Just following up on your ticket. Can you tell me if you have tried deactivating the theme to see if that resolves the issue? Or the other plugins as well?

    Hi,

    I deactivated on plugin at a time and found it was a conflict with one. I updated that one and all is working as it should be now. Thanks for your help.
