    Hello!

    I have the following problem:
    I was trying to add your plugin as a side widget on my website. I did the whole configuration part (insert data in config.php, putting in the correct path etc). When I add the widget on the right side of my website (via WordPress), it just doesn’t show up. But it should be there according to my appearance -> Widgets page. If you look on my site right now, you will see nothing under the chat widget.
    esports.fragout.org

    What can I do?

    Thank you.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    have you Save the widget? It is on list on activated widgets?
    i imagine yes due to the above: have you try out using a WP default theme?
    If it show, it is a problem on your template maybe?
    let know

    I have saved it, I even doubted so I added another widget and saved and it showed the other widget.
    I just tried the WP default theme and the result is the same, the widget doesn’t show.

    i’ve just try to install and activate widget into a clean wordpress where wp_w3all was never been installed, and all work fine, so i’m confused about this issue you experience. I’ll be over sometime for 1.7.7 in these days, hope if something wrong about this in some strange circumstance, it will come out in the while. So strange.

    Very strange indeed. Even If I did something wrong in my config.php it should atleast show up as an error right?

    Axew3, I forgot to mention something.
    The URL I use is a sub-domain (esports.fragout.org => fragout.org)
    Could this be the issue?

    i’ll check your kind of configuration, due to another issue about subdomain/domain installs i need to do as soon. It should not be the reason, if the integration work and config result ok (with green message, so valid phpbb config.php has been found) … but i’ll check more, in the while i’m doing the test said above.

    I’ve retried installing the plugin. But let me just ask you something simple:

    It asks the full path of my phpbb config.php file. So back on my FTP, I click on my rootmap => forum => There’s my config.php. So I’ll put /forum
    Is that right?

    no it is not correct for sure: the path to your phpBB root config.php (or custom phpBB config.file) need to be setup following this post if you do not know how:
    Absolute full path how to reminder
    when a config.php is found the red text disappear, while you should see it because the path to phpBB config.php isn’t found.
    Check also all other hints and procedure steps here:

    set as https the url setting to your phpBB forum if your WP is served as https
