I am on WordPress 4.8.3. I do not know which version of the plugin … I exported the data using LDD Reporter, uninstalled the plugin, and when I try to Activate I get the following error:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/lifemin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ldd-directory-lite/includes/template-functions.php on line 883

When I uninstalled, I Deactivated it, then Deleted it. Then I re-downloaded the plugin within WordPress.

The latest version of our plugin does not have any code on this line , so hopefully your issue will be fixed.

I Updated the Plugin and attempted to Activate. I received the following error:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/lifemin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ldd-directory-lite/includes/template-functions.php on line 892

Next, I Deleted the Plugin and re-Installed. And attempted to Activate, receiving the following error:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/lifemin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ldd-directory-lite/includes/template-functions.php on line 892

I Deleted the Plugin again and FTP’d in to delete the Plugin/ldd-directory-lite directory. The directory is not on my server.

    Please advise.

We will surely want to help you, could you please re-install the plugin and confirm that you have at least one category added. and could you please tell me your PHP version? I am looking into different areas where the issue can occur.
