Facebook App ID

    The Facebook share button on my blogposts does not work. When I try to share an article through the button an error message shows up: “Invalid App ID – The provided app ID does not look like a valid app ID.”

    I’m not sure exactly what to do – I know the Facebook Page ID for my FB page, but not what an App ID is… Can you help?

    Hi @watchmesee,

    Thanks for reaching out, I’d be happy to help here.
    In regards to Facebook App ID, this is most likely referring to Facebook Insights.
    You most likely have it turned on without providing the App ID #.

    In this case, I would recommend turning off the tab within the Advanced settings page of our plugin if you are unsure of what this setting does. From there it should be back to working properly.
