    hello,
my wordpress website is using cloudflare but wordfence keeps blocking cloudflare IP’s

    like

    141.101.104.57
    141.101.105.172
    172.69.54.163

    and more…

how can i fix this? cloudflare ip’s are https://www.cloudflare.com/ips-v4 i want it to be added in safe list and whitelist them, but when i go to

    wordpress-admin/wordfence/options/Other Options

Whitelisted IP addresses that bypass all rules

and want to add them there, they say they are invalid ips…

    please help me resolve this.

  • Hi,
The text area in “Whitelisted IP addresses that bypass all rules” accepts only IP ranges not CIDR format, so you might need to use this tool to convert from CIDR to IPs range.

I’ll need to know more details about this issue though! where exactly you see Wordfence blocks these IPs? if in Live Traffic, please share a screenshot showing a couple of these entries there.

It could be that Wordfence can’t detect the real visitors IPs correctly on your website, if this was the case then you might need to use this plugin from Cloudflare or adjust the “How does Wordfence get IPs” option in Wordfence.

    Thanks.

    Hi
i have cloudflare plugin in my wordpress.

    while using https://www.ipaddressguide.com/cidr

and using cloudflare ips at https://www.cloudflare.com/ips/

does that mean i should add every single ip from 103.21.244.0 to 103.21.247.255? that’s thousands ip to be added in wordfence

    CIDR Range 103.21.244.0/22
    Netmask 255.255.252.0
    Widlcard Bits 0.0.3.255
    First IP 103.21.244.0
    Last IP 103.21.247.255
    Total Host 1024

No, you will need to enter something like that: 103.21.[244-247].[0-255].

    Thanks.
