• I’s using the 2.7 version.
    Host: PHP version:5.2.5
    MySQL version:5.0.45-community
    Operating system: Linux
    PC: IE7&Firefox5.0

I cannot open the plugins page(http://frankxia.com/wp-admin/plugins.php) now.

I was trying to upgrade to 2.7.1, bu the autoupgrade failed.
then i was going to Deactivate the WordPress Automatic Upgrate plugin. and I found that I cannot deactivate it, then I tried to deactivate some other plugins, i still cannot deactivate.

Just like, after i click the Delete, then the page was refreshed, and that plugin appeared in the Recent Used Plugins, but after I click the “Installed” menu again, the plugin was back.

Then I delete some plugins by Cpanel, and here bigger problem came up: I cannot open the “Installed” menu. every time I open that menu, the IE tries to Download the Plugins. Php. and I did upload a brand new Plugins Php instead of the old one. but it did not help, anyway.

I did google, but I couldn’t find any useful help. So any one pls help me out? Thank you!

    Frank Xia

  • See if you can download the WordPress distribution from the Download tab at the top of this page, extract the files, then upload, via FTP, just the wp-contents/plugins folder to your host.
