• Hi, I have just downloaded and installed and I ran across the Headers already sent problem. Found some whitespace in my config file and took care of that but the problem still remains. Hunted around in other files for whitespace but have not found any. Cleared out the database and reinstalled. What could possibly be the problem now?

  • Whitespace 🙂
Have you checked after the last
    ?>
    ?

Yes. Fixed that, still happening. It seems to have worked for everyone else…

Did you re-upload the wp-config.php file after you fixed the whitespace error? You wouldn’t be the first person to make changes locally and then forget to upload the file to your web server. 🙂
Also, if you are using Firefox as your browser, ensure that you clear your cache and then try again.

It can only happen with any junk before the
    <?php
    or after the last
    ?>
Try putting the cursor between the ? and the >
Hold the delete key down for a few seconds
Type > (and just >, nothing else at all)
    Save
    Upload and see ?

I did re-upload and am using Firefox. I will try clearing the cache (but when I open it up on Internet explorer, I get the same issues.)
Will clear the cache and get back to you.

Okay, tried clearing the cache and the delete key suggestion. No dice.

Also, when I click on the edit link I get this error: “Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_ENDIF in /home/ckuhn/public_html/wordpress/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 139”

    That worked. Thanks. 🙂

    Excellent !
