# 1 year with the same problem – users cannot comment

 * I posted this issue a YEAR ago:

 * I still have the same problem. I’ve tried everything everyone has suggested. 
   NONE of the solutions have fixed the problem.
 * Users simply cannot comment on our site. When you try to comment it tells you
   to log in – when you log in and go back to the post, it tells you that you’re
   not logged in and need to log in – and the circle continues.
 * I have made sure that the site settings all start with WWW as suggested. I have
   tried many different themes. I have contacted my hosting provider and nobody 
   can figure this out.
 * Does anyone have any ideas at all? It’s incredibly frustrating.

 * HA! I finally fixed it!
 * My install is in a different directory than stock – when setting the blog address
   URL it was set with index.php at the end – this was breaking the comment system
   for some reason.
