# 2 different admin panels

 * Both mine and my school website are using wordpress 2.2.2 but there is a significant
   difference in the admin panels.

 * My site seems to have the most recent version, but like I said, both are using
   wp 2.2.2
 * What could cause this?

 * Visit Users -> Your Profile and check out the top checkbox (to use the WYSIWYG
   editor). Looks like one blog has it on and the other off.

 * Your right, the one on the school website wasn’t checked. However, when I did
   check it i got even less options, the visual editor didn’t show up, I lost all
   those basic editor tools – **b** _i_ etc

 * Clear your browser cache (or while on the school site editor, hit ctrl-F5). That
   oughta get it.

 * That did it! I forgot the ‘use visual option needed to be checked, and I certainly
   didn’t think I needed to clear the cache.
