 * Thanks! The errors are gone, but my custom post type doesn’t appear anywhere 
   in the menu. Any idea why?

 * Let me correct what I just said… It appears in the Menu View in the Admin, but
   not om the site.

    could be your menu items are limited by max number of viewable, or perhaps
   a css issue that is limiting the view. Ken
