 * [@altaico](https://wordpress.org/support/users/altaico/),
 * Procedure:
 * (1) Download and install the Google Authenticator app.
 * (2) Log into your website. A QR Code will be displayed when you click “Log In”
   for the first time.
 * (3) Scan the QR Code with your Google Authenticator app (click on the + sign
   displayed at the bottom right of the app screen).
 * You’re all set and ready to go!

 * Ok. My question is other, if I have already configurated the 2 factor authentication(
   scanned the QR) but at some moment I don’t have this app with me in my phone.
 * The interface doesn’t offer another option to enter, neither I can’t download
   codes to log in from the plugin in the website.
 * How can I log in?
 * Thank you.

 * [@altaico](https://wordpress.org/support/users/altaico/),
 * Apologies, we misunderstood your first question.
 * We submitted a similar request to SiteGround as noted [here](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/login-page-must-have-items/).
 * Since this plugin is fairly new, lets hope they introduce the option to email
   the 2FA code at their next appropriate plugin revision level.
 * Until then, we’re stuck with the current method. Recommend you install the Google
   Authenticator app on two mobile devices (e.g., phone and tablet) and your desktop.
   Go online for instructions.
 * Hope this helps a bit.
 * Cheers!

 * Hey,
 * The alternative way to log in using backup codes is almost ready and it will
   be released very soon.
